Welcome – RxOutside.org seeks to inspire children and adults to get outside and enjoy nature. We believe that doing so will result in improved health and wellness.
Rx – get outside for an hour a day. Take a walk. Ride a bike. Go for a swim. Hike a trail. Camp. Play tennis, golf, basketball. Mow the lawn. Throw a ball on the lawn. Toss a Frisbee. Ski. Go boating. If only for an hour a day, get outside and enjoy some fresh air.
To facilitate progress, we are asking providers around the world to prescribe (Rx) 1 Hour A Day of Outside Time for their patients. For Children. For Adults. This, we believe, is a prescription for and solution to improved health and wellness.
